Meet Dr. Kang

I am a family dentist that takes a conservative approach in providing high quality dental care and whose primary objective is making a difference in my patients’ dental health.   I am very fortunate to work in the Bellevue area and to serve patients of all ages and backgrounds.  It is my honor to carry on the traditions of an office that was started 30 years ago by Dr. Michael Thrall and joined by Dr. Nishimura in 1997.  Many of our patients who began their care with Dr. Thrall have brought their children and grandchildren to our practice.  We take great pride in providing excellent care to our families.

On a personal basis, I grew up on the Eastside in Redmond where I played football, tennis and swam competitively.  I attended the University of Washington and in 2002, graduated from UW’s Dental School in the top 10% of my class.  I am an active member in the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the King County Dental Society.  For the past five years, I have been honored by peers as a “Top Dentist in Seattle.”

During my free time, I enjoy travelling, cheering on the Seahawks and spending time with my family, wife Teresa (also a dentist) and our two children, Gavin and Kara.
